Daniel Herrington in the #28 Le Blue car started 18th at Toronto due to the car being too light at inspection. The race began the track was wet and all drivers utilizing their rain tires. The track soon dried and we saw something not very common in the Firestone Indy Lights Series, a pit stop. All the drivers came in a switches to a slick tire.
